today in ict we had to read one a post on the grade eight blog. It had two activites we had to complete the first one was called staying safe it was about being careful about putting your details and pictures of your self on the internet it made me relise that i have to think twice before doing that sort of thing in the future. The second part of the post actvity was how to make a screenshot u use it for if you want to record information that you have on your screen. If you want to do one all you have to do is have the screen you want to copy and or record press the print screen button on the keyboard then open up a new word document then copy it once you have done that you can save it or print it out. it was the first time for me so i just coppied the screen i had up at the time. Today in I.T we had an activity it was fairly hard it helps you with your search skills with using key words and not using words that aren’t needed. the activity that i did was called great wall challenge and there was a question that was an example of searching the answer for a question but shortening the question down to just the key words that you need. In video production we have to make our own movies our first movie was called “The adventures of Harry, Garry and Larry Highpants it was mostly stupid things and it was a comedy. For our new movie we will have wigs and props in it hopefully it will be better than our last one. In literacy we have a new assignment that we are working on. it’s about the importance of teens getting their licence and their first car. we have to write paragraphs on a topic that is to do with getting your licence or to do with once you’ve got your licence like independence, freedom and identification. It’s pretty interesting to work on so far even know it’s an assignment. Welcome to your brand new blog at Edublogs.
